About the Contributors

Mia Haber

Mia HaberMia Haber has been with Liturgical Publications Inc. for over seventeen years.  She has trained thousands of editors, secretaries, pastors and other church staff in the use of desktop publishing software, digital camera usage and graphic design.

In 2000, Mia created B3 (Better Bulletin Builders) seminars with the goal of helping bulletin editors get their important messages into the minds of their readers. B3 topics have included Design, The Digital Editor, Publisher 2007 and The Better Newsletter.

Mia has presented B3 seminars to bulletin and newsletter editors in 75 cities, including Denver, Minneapolis, Chicago and Kansas City.

Tracie Peters

blogpic4Tracie Peters has been with Liturgical Publications, Inc., a leader in the bulletin and newsletter printing industry, for over 7 years. She has worked in several positions with the company in the Pre-Press department.

During that time, she has given advice on topics ranging from design to technical issues to thousands of editors over the phone and in person. Ms. Peters continues to work with her clients, both internal and external, striving to maintain a high level of consistency, as well as working to make everyone’s job a little bit easier.

In her spare time, Ms. Peters serves as the vice president of the Business Advisory Board of her local Alverno College chapter of SIFE.

Dave Hoover

DaveDavid Hoover joined the Tech Support dept. of Liturgical Publications, Inc. in December of 2005.

Since then, he has helped hundreds of bulletin and newsletter editors with various technical difficulties. Internally, David assists the IS dept. as needed, and is part of LPi’s continuous efforts at color improvement.

In his spare time, he records/performs with various musical projects, the latest of which is the “Secret Society of Starfish”.

Charlie Woller

Charlie WollerCharlie Woller works as a technical trainer at LPi’s MidEast Region Service Center. He enjoys the opportunities to travel and to meet and work with customers which his job affords him. His greatest satisfaction comes from coaching customers on how best to take advantage of the publishing tools and resources available to them. Carol Owens

carol_lpi_clevCarol Owens is the senior graphic artist at LPi’s MidEast Region Service Center, in Cleveland, Ohio. Carol has over twenty years experience in the graphic arts field, ten of those with LPi. The most rewarding part of her job is working with current, new and prospective customers and designing or redesigning their publication covers to make them special and unique. Carol enjoys spending quality time with her family.

Joe Luedtke

Joe Luedtke - HeadshotJoe Luedtke is the Vice President of Interactive Media for Liturgical Publications.  Joe specializing in Social Media and Web 2.0 and is currently leading LPi’s efforts to move into the on-line world.  Joe believes that the world’s largest and oldest social network, religion, could benefit tremendously from the the proper use of Internet technologies as a communication and education tool.  Joe can be reached at jluedtke@4lpi.com.

Scott MacDonald

Scott MacDonald has been employed as an EBS Application Specialist in the LPi Hartford office since late 2008. In that time he has helped many LPi customers in the Northeast region with various technical support issues as well as bulletin design/layout questions.

In his spare time Scott performs with a number of community theater groups in the Hartford area.
